Epidemiology of zoonoses 6. Epidemiology of disappearing infections 7. Emerging and reemereging infections 8. Epidemiology of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections 9. Epidemiology of tetanus 10. Transmissible infections 11. Epidemiology of parasitic infections 12. Pandemic, WHO eradication programs 13. Epidemiology of cardiovascular diseases 14. Epidemiology of metabolic diseases 15. Epidemiology of cancer 16. Epidemiology of neurodegenerative diseases

Learning outcomes
The course is conceived as theoretical and is complex part of subjects enabling students to work in all spheres of health care. Students will get acquainted with the most important infectious diseases, prevention and epidemic measures. Students will learn how to identify the risk factors for the emergence of non-infectious diseases and how to act appropriately in the prevention of these diseases.
After completing the course the student should be acquainted with specifics of infectious and noninfectious diseases, and will be able to work with data sources. They will be able to analyze the current epidemiological situation and propose preventive measures to reduce the incidence and mortality of chronic noninfectious diseases and to propose epidemic measures for the occurrence of infectious diseases.

Preparation of seminar papers, test, individual learning, preparation and defense of seminar papers, 100% seminars attendance.
