Course content

Position, Characteristics and Principles of the Labor Law, Development of the Labor Law in the Czech Republic 8. Employment - Sorts, Concluding, Legal Framework 9. Employee's Remuneration and Working Hours 10. Rights and Duties of Employee, Employment Termination 11. Labor Law Responsibility of Employee 12. Health and Safety at Work, Care of Employees

Learning outcomes
Students will become acquainted with the characteristic features and principles of civil law, the requirements for civil-law responsibility, civil procedural law and labor law within these seminars. Student will learn and understand the selected part of labor and civil law, the sense of the particular legal institutes of the private law with regard to the health care. Student will become acquainted with the wider areal of relevant sources of information and will gain the wider perspective and fundamental knowledge of connections between labor and civil law and health care. The ability to think in legal connections will be stimulated during the seminars with the goal to form the elementary legal awareness of students.
The purpose of this subject is to acquaire the fundamental knowledge of labor and civil law, the elementary orientation in the field with the accent on the labor law responsibility.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of elementary institutions of legal system of the Czech Republic.
