Course content
Topics covered include: Anatomy and physiology of the female genital tract Hormonal regulation of the body The menstrual cycle and its disorders Physiological stages of a woman's life Examination methods in gynecology and obstetrics Methods of family planning The most common diseases in gynecology Gynecological surgery Pregnancy changes in the female body Fetal development, physiological and pathological pregnancy Childbirth, birth mechanism: longitudinal head position

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Observation, Demonstration, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)

Learning outcomes
The course is part of the clinical nursing complex and is designed to be both theoretical and practical. The aim is to provide students with the professional knowledge and practical skills necessary to provide nursing care to women at different stages of life, with a focus on gynecology and obstetrics.
By completing this course, students will acquire the theoretical and practical foundations for working in gynecology and obstetrics departments and as paramedics providing care to women with gynecological conditions or during childbirth.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, clinical propaedeutics, and basic nursing skills and procedures.
