Course content
Main topics of the subject: classification of surgical approaches in gynaecology; Use of individual operational approaches and their specification; Classification of pre-operative preparation; Midwife care before surgery; Midwife care after surgery + nursing records by a midwife.

Learning outcomes
The course deals with providing highly specialized patient care during surgery and after surgery, the discipline will focus on the patient's preparation for surgery (long-term, short-term and immediate preoperative preparation), the principles of aseptic approach in individual surgical procedures. The discipline will focus on specific conditions such as breast, uterine, ovarian, vulvar, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, complications.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to take care of the woman before and after gynaecological surgery, to keep the documentation and to know the specifics of particular surgical approaches.
