| Course content |
|
Deepening of theoretical knowledge and practice of basic procedures that fall within the competence of a practical nurse and improvement of procedures that fall within the competence of a doctor: preparation of sterile field, handling of sterile instruments, care of wounds (dressings, sutures, drains), catheterization of the urinary bladder (male, female), enema, care of stoma, O2 application, airway care (suction, inhalation, nebulization, etc.), care of the dead body, injections (sc, im), drug preparation (dilution), transfusion - assistance in administration, monitoring during and after transfusion, assistance in i.v. injections, collection of biological material, preparation and application of infusion. Procedures will be practised ander supervising mentor.
