Familiarization with the workflow, primarily in the delivery rooms, gynecological outpatient clinics, and prenatal care clinics. Assistance in gynecological surgeries and cesarean sections.

The goal of the internship in hospitals is to gain exposure to the daily operations in gynecology and obstetrics. The student should be assigned to a doctor at the respective hospital and become familiar with the workflow, primarily in the delivery rooms, gynecological outpatient clinics, prenatal care clinics, and assist in gynecological surgeries and cesarean sections.
The student will become familiar with the real hospital operations in gynecology and obstetrics. The student should be able to perform by himself a gynecological examination including pap smear, deliver a baby including treatment of lacerations. |
