Course content
1) introduction of the topic, revision of the basic points of psychiatric examination and psychiatric diagnosis, valid classification systems and categorization of mental illness 2) organic and symptomatic mental disorders - characteristics, diagnosis, treatment, case reports 3) mental disorders associated with psychoactive substances - characteristics, diagnostics, treatment, case reports 4) mental illness of schizophrenic circuit - characteristics, diagnostics, treatment, case reports 5) mood disorders - characteristics, diagnostics, treatment, case reports 6) neurotic spectrum mental disorders - characteristics, diagnostics, treatment, case reports 7) somatic-related behavioral syndromes - characteristics, diagnostics, treatment, case reports 8) personality disorders and adult behavior - characteristics, diagnostics, treatment, case reports 9) mental disorders in childhood - characteristics, diagnostics, treatment, case reports 10) disorders in the area of sexuality - characteristics, diagnostics, treatment, case reports 11) basic urgent and acute conditions in psychopathology - characteristics, diagnostics, treatment, case reports 12) psychohygiene in work with people with mental illness - principles, applications, limits and possibilities

Learning outcomes
The subject extends and extends the knowledge and skills of subjects Psychopathology 1 (general psychopathology) and Psychopathology 2 (special psychopathology). Emphasis is placed on applying knowledge to practice. Students, according to the assignment, work out specific case reports, in which they then present a basic psychopathological picture, compile a proposal for a comprehensive medical-psychological examination and treatment (including biological therapy). In addition, students prepare a summary of the information given to their closest relatives and respond to current questions from others.
Orientation in specific issues of the field, working with the mentally ill, extending the knowledge of psychopathology.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

Required preparation and elaboration of specific case reports, oral presentation of problems for others, demonstration of orientation in basic concepts and areas of psychopathology, basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures of contemporary psychopathology.
