Course content
1) Psychotherapy of neurotic disorder, stress, personality disorders 2) Psychotherapy of psychosis 3) Addiction, drugs and alcohol 4) Psychotherapy and psychosomatic disorders 5) Psychotherapy in area of organic disorder 6) Pair psychotherapy, family therapy 7) Special techniques

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Demonstration, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Attendace - 8 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 42 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Exam - 25 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Application of psychotherapy on problematic of neurosis, psychosis, addiction, psychosomatic disorder, organic disorder, personality disorders. Excercises in special psychotherapeutic technique.
Students obtain essential knowledges and skills needed for assesing applicability selected methods in concrete mental disorders.
Prerequisites
Course is for students which finished course of General psychology and they want to elaborate their knowledges and practical skills in the area of application of psychotherapeutic method in concrete mental disorders.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Student performance, Dialog, Seminar Work

Students forms teams and they have to present selected topic to their collegues in seminar. Requested is 80% attendance, acitivity. Students are motivated to discussion and professional ways of thinking about concrete problems.
