Course content
1st Introduction to the subject? patients with somatic diseases. 2nd Diagnostic methods in working with patients with somatic diseases. 3rd Patients with somatic disorders in the care of a psychologist. 4th Psychosocial conditionality of cancer (Intrapsychical, interpersonal and social variables, etc.). 5th Patients with cancer diagnosis (treatment diagnosis, course of treatment, principles of therapy, etc.). 6th Psychosocial interventions for cancer (psychological / psychotherapeutic interventions, social support, crisis intervention, etc.). 7th Personnel and patients with cancer diagnosis (diagnosis communication, communication, system, ethical issues, etc.). 8th Primary prevention in the field (new interdisciplinary perspectives on conditionality of disease prevention programs, education, etc.). Tertiary prevention in the field (follow-up questions, the care of patients after treatment, a group comprising patients, etc.). 9th Discussions with patients and representatives o.s. Amelie.

Learning outcomes
The aim of education is to equip students with basic knowledge and skills into practice working with the pacients with somatic disease, especially with cancer. The starting principle of the interpretation is the bio-psycho-social (religious) concept of human existence in health and disease. The seminar will also be focused as a practical training (eg communication of diagnosis), experiential techniques (eg relaxation by spouses Simonton) and internship (attendance at meetings of self-help groups).
