Course content
Introduction to theory of religion (basic concepts and methods) Psychoanalytic perspectives on religion (Sigmund Freud) Religion and mythology from a view of C. G. Jung Transpersonal psychology (Stanislav Grof and others) Varieties of religious experience and their social context (religious practice, religious experiences. alternated states of consciousness) Spirituality, religiosity, and their research. Religious beliefs and health. New religious movements and anti-cult movement (history, basic traits) Destructive aspects of religions. Ethical aspects of psychology of religion
