Course content
Tutoring - work with a child Pedagogical and psychological issues in practice Relationship of development and learning Child's motivation to learn Education questions - how to treat the child as tutor

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Observation, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Homework for Teaching - 20 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 26 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 4 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students are involved in preventing of school failure of some elementary school pupils of the Olomouc region.
Students will acquire experience of working with children with tutoring, will have an overview of the issues of education and learning, will be familiar with the basic literature on the topic, see the school world from another side than ever before.
Prerequisites
Interest on school issues, the learning and development, experience with working with children.

Student performance, Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio

- Reliability and credibility - Regular yearlong tutoring one student in elementary school - Active participation in seminars and supervisory meetings - Participation on tutoring consultations
