Course content
|
Presentation of a selected series of films in a thematic line. The first part of the seminar is based on the presentation of the film. The second part of the seminar then consists of the focus groups method with an emphasis on the ability of introspection and its use in psychology - in this case working with film. Due to the length of the presented films and the subsequent discussion, the seminar has formed as block teaching on selected and agreed dates.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the seminar is to teach students to work with introspective processing of the viewed film material so that they are able to share their thoughts, feelings, and opinions in a group discussion and also be able to receive and process the views of other seminar participants. In the seminar, students learn to handle experiential material as a source of information usable in clinical and social psychological practice.
Using the introspective method. Analysis of qualitative narrative material. Kombination of introspective material with movie and documentation of film. Ability to think about the seen work from different angles.

|
Seminar Work
Active participation in seminars and focus groups. Skills in introspective method and its application on working with movies.
