Course content
Seminar is meant for the third year students of the doctoral studying programmes. It will be always realised at the end of the winter term. Members of the department of the psychology, especially members of the branch board for clinical and pedagogical psychology, and other Ph.D. students will take part in it. Student will shortly present the main theoretical and practical contributions of his/her dissertation thesis. He/she will focus especially on the research results, especially on the unexpected and contradictory findings. There will be reserved 20 minutes for presentation. A debate with members of the department and other Ph.D. students about the research results which would lead to suggestions for the gained data interpretation and for the discussion chapter of the dissertation thesis.

Learning outcomes
A critical evaluation of the actual version of the doctoral thesis in the middle of the third studying year. Discussion on possible theoretical problems, ideas for the research results interpretation focused on contradictory or unexpected findings.
A short presentation of the main theoretical and practical contributions of the dissertation thesis. An ability to interpret gained data, and to discuss them, to test hypothesis, and put themes for the next research.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary)

Participation in the seminar, prepared presentation, the dissertation thesis shortly before finishing.
