Course content
terminology of anatomical structures and organ systems of the human body. Basic knowledge from anatomy is further extended in physiology, pathology, and pathological physiology. The course follows the subject OPD / PAK03 of the winter semester. Topics: 1. Digestive system first. 2. Respiratory system. 3. Male reproductive system. 4. Nervous system. 5. Peripheral nervous system. 6. Sense organs (overview). 7. Thoracic Organs situs viscerum thoracis. 8. Abdominal organs and viscerum situs abdominis. 9. Genitourinary organs and retroperitoneum.

Learning outcomes
Anatomy is an integral part of the complex of obligatory courses. It introduces students to the terminology of anatomical structures and organ systems of the human body. Basic knowledge from anatomy is further extended in physiology, pathology, and pathological physiology. Locomotor system - active and passive locomotor apparatus; digestive system; respiratory system; urinary system; male and female reproductive systems - in detail; cardiovascular system; lymphatic circulation; peripheral nervous system; sense organs; endocrine glands; CNS.
Student is supposed to be able use gained knowledge properly in practical clinical subject, moreover, the background will enable to use knowledge in other theoretical subject (e.g. physiology).

Successful completion of the course OPD / PAA03 Anatomy - credit.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam, Written exam, Didactic Test

90% attendance at seminars. Continuous monitoring of the knowledge of evaluation in the range of classification A - E.
