Course content
The student will gain knowledge of the basic principles of mechanisms of pharmacokinetics, drug action and adverse drug effects. The student will also gain basic knowledge of the main pharmacotherapeutic groups such as: 1) neuroleptics 2) antidepressants 3) general and local anaesthetics 4) antihypertensives 5) antiemetics and prokinetics 6) drugs of blood coagulation 7) drugs used in asthma bronchiale 8) hypolipidemics 9) antiobesitics 10) analgesics 11) hormones of pancreas and oral antidiabetics 12) knowledge of the drug dependence.
