Course content
|
Regular consultations with the supervisor of the master thesis and various seminar meetings concerning: a) the right choice of the topic, b) the structure of the thesis, c) correct ways of quoting/referencing, avoiding plagiarism, d) presenting the outcomes of the research.

Learning outcomes
|
The course Master Thesis Module prepares students for writing and finalising their master thesis. The main emphasis is being put on the Dutch stylistics, on the correct way of quoting and on the orderly organized layout of the final bachelor paper.
The ability to set up a master thesis according to the binding requirements of the Dutch Department, Philosophical Faculty, Palacký University Olomouc. Handing in the final version of the master thesis on time.

Prerequisites
|
Finished bachelor study, selection of a topic for the master thesis. Regular consultations of the thesis with the supervisor. Dutch language skills and competences on the level C1 - CEFR.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Analysis of linguistic
Active participation, making a presentation, regular consultations with the supervisor, handing in the master thesis.
