Learning outcomes
The aim of the Dutch stylistics course is to teach students how to write well-structured essays with appropriate arguments. In the theoretical part of the course the students get acquainted with various argumentation schemes and various types of texts (reasoning, justification, journalistic essay, rhetorical explanation, etc.) During the course special attention is paid to the structure and style, the selection and use of appropriate language resources with respect to grammatical accuracy expressions, and care is taken to disseminate students' active vocabulary.
