Course content
Explanation of good practices. Different types of resources (primary and secondary literature, electronic resources, databases etc.), use of these resources. What is and is not plagiarism? Examples of citations. Work on the master thesis in Dutch according to the required standards.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with instructions for correct writing of the master thesis: working with sources (primary and secondary literature, databases etc.), citations, structure and format of the thesis, adequate language style.
The student is able to write the master thesis in Dutch according to the required standards.
Prerequisites
Language skills of Dutch at the level C1 CEFR.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

The student becomes familiar with the valid standards for writing academic texts in Dutch. Work on the master thesis, consultation with the supervisor.
