Course content
Theoretical background of translatology and systemaric analysis of selected texts and their translations.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Demonstration, Work Activities
Learning outcomes
The focus of the course is the translation of business and cultural texts from Dutch into Czech. Special attention is vowed to independent processing of selected texts, discussing problems and finding optimal solutions. Students will learn about the possibilities of using information technology, ways to gather information and assessing of sources.
Ability to translate professional commercial and cultural texts.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of Dutch at the bachelor's level.
