Course content
We will work with the theoretical book Capita Selecta z nizozemské lingvistiky and with the method Nederlands in Actie (practical lessons). The theoretical part is divided in 12 lessons: 1) recapitulation of the phonetic system, survey of word categories; 2) verb and tense system; 3) active and passive, auxiliar verbs; 4) the noun and its complements; 5) the adjective and graduation; 6) numerals; 7) pronouns; 8) adverbs; 9) prepositions and their use, rection; 10) conjunctions and interjections; 12) particles. During the practical lessons we will do approximately the first 4 lessons of the method.

Learning outcomes
The aim is that the student will acquire knowledge of the morphological system of Dutch language, the word categories and their system. The student will learn to distinguish the word categories according to the Dutch system that is different from the Czech one. Special attention is paid to the category of tense in Dutch verbs and the problem of word order in Dutch.
Improvement of the student's ability from A2 CEFR to B1 CEFR. Improvement of knowledge of Dutch morphology. (CEFR = Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_European_Framework_of_Reference_for_Languages)
Prerequisites
Requirements to participate in the course Nizozemská morphology are: - Having successfully completed Nizozemská gramatika 1 and 2 (first year) - Regular presence in the lessons (max. 2 absences per semester are allowed, both for the theoretical part and the practical part) - Doing the homework tasks (for the theoretical part these are put in moodle, for the practical part they are in the textbook) - Taking the final tests (a theoretical test for the theoretical part and a practical test for the practical part) - Intermediate tests will also be taken during the semester
