This course examines the sources of international business law, the relationship between such law and the EU legal system, the choice of law in international business disputes, the special issues that arise when doing business with foreign governments, the law governing international sales and the shipment of goods, and international intellectual property protection. In addition, the relationships between law and culture involved in international business transactions will be examined. Combination of traditional legal studies in business law (such as contract law, company law, tax law and competition law) and economic and trade related issues, this course is ideal to prepare candidates for careers: in corporate or tax law, in institutional employment within the CR or within domestic administrations. Alternatively, it will also provide a good grounding for students interested in pursuing a career within EU The focus on Business Law caters to the demand of the market for an increasing awareness of the legal framework in a global environment. This Course does not only provide students with in depth knowledge of the business procedures, it also focuses on the alternative dispute resolution in the CR and EU, its member States, the EEA and the third States The Students will also get information in research methods for investment and finance, investment analysis, financial management, and financial instruments
Studenti absolvující tento předmět získají znalosti potřebné k ovládnutí této problematiky. Jedná se zejména o znalosti základních institutů mezinárodního a evropského obchodního práva, základních zásad obchodních smluv.

Známkou
Předmět je zakončen zkouškou. Studenti jsou povinni napsat písemnou práci a poté složit závěrečnou zkouškou formou písemného testu.
