Learning outcomes
European Business Law course is designed for entry into EU Studies for students who have already completed three or more years' study of law at a Higher Education Institution - University. The focus of the course is on European and commercial law, and is offered as a single-semester course for the award of an exam and a sum of credits. With focus on European Law, the course examines the Institutions of the European Union. It will analyze the rights of free movement of people and goods across member states and you study the implications of European Integration and expansion. Specialist options include subjects such as Competition Law, Environmental Law, Investor Protection Law and European Integration. Also the impact of European Union Law on the international, European and national business communities is the topic of the course. The course is particularly designed for those students who are currently working, or wish to work, in a highly competitive business environment either in a European or non-European company. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Students who have completed this course will gain theoretical knowledge.
Prerequisites
The completion of this course is not conditioned upon completion of any other courses.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark

It is essential that those students who would like to get the credit must have attendance within the scope set by the seminar teacher and they also must succeed in the exam. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.
