Course content
Working out a literature search on selected topic based on recent scientific papers. Students should actively work out the scientific task and bring his own view and solution on given topic. The course provides the students information on how to write the Thesis and present his data.

Laboratory Work
  • Preparation for the Exam - 50 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Selection of thesis topic. Literature search. Proposal of the solution of the problem, setting the aims down. Learning of the basic methodic approaches.
Student should be able to (after attending the course): - apply the knowledge he/she obtained during the study - write a good literature recherché on given topic - make an outline of the thesis - select appropriate methodology for the study - debate properly own results with published ones
Prerequisites
To prepare a review on a given topic.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

The student is required to submit a progress report on thesis work (2 pages A4), certified by his/her advisor. The report should be structured into: aims of the thesis, introduction in the field, methods, results/expected results and conclusions.
