Course content
Basic stoichiometric calculations, composition of solutions, calculations of concentrations, mixing of solutions, diluting solutions, ionic strength, equilibrium constants, solubility product constant, pH of solutions, pH of buffers, titration, titration curves, calculations in volumetric analysis.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to recall basic terms and to extend knowledge in calculations required in medical chemistry.
Comprehensive summary of the requirements in calculations in the medical chemistry (after the unification of knowledge in consideration of the different focus and level of the secondary education).
Prerequisites
Secondary education in chemistry and mathematics.
