The course content will focus on explaining the concepts listed below: - basic concentration calculations (mass and mass concentration), mass fraction and dilution of biochemical solutions and biological samples, multiple dilution - preparation and dilution of drugs - creation and use of a calibration line - basic properties of buffers, buffering capacity, buffering systems in the human body - basic calculations of pH of solutions and buffers - basic trivial nomenclature of biochemical molecules, functional groups in biologically important molecules, basic reactions in biological systems
