Course content
During practical tutorials the students will familiarize with methods of searching of special kinesiology information within the computes networks. Searching of this information is focused on biomedicine information databases. Methods of diagnostic data evaluation by means of table processors and presentation of this information in Power Point software. The students become familiar also with basic principles of the statistical analysis of the biomedical data particularly with the methods of descriptive statistics. In the area of clinical information systems they are familiarized with software used for administration of doctor?s office in work range of paramedical staff, work with clients file, patient ordering and others.

Learning outcomes
The students will familiarize with methods of searching of special kinesiology information within the computes networks. Searching of this information is focused on biomedicine information databases. Further, they will develop the skill to present the searched information with presentation programs and transfer this information through the computer networks. The students become familiar also with basic principles of the statistical analysis of the biomedical data particularly with the methods of descriptive statistics.
After pass the exercises, the physiotherapy student will have the knowledge in the field of bibliometry, necessary for obtaining the quality biomedicine information and its implementation in clinical praxis or scientific research and will manage the basic techniques of statistical analysis of the data using the statistical software available to him/her.
Prerequisites
Students ought to have fundamental attainments in informatics and computer technology at the secondary education level.
