Course content
Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject focuses on key issues and themes related to the slope and communication education intended for the first level of basic schools under the Framework Educational Plan for Primary Education. He deals with the basic concepts of linguistic stylistics, represents Czechoslovak tradition of stylistic view of language and its use in various communication spheres and situations as well as systematizes the knowledge gained by students in previous courses focused on Czech grammar, with a focus on variance linguistic resources according to the individual language plans. The subject is dominated by interest in the system of stylistic means contemporary Czech, but there is no emphasis on practical stylistics (spoken / written speeches). 1. Stylistics / style and communication education (systematics, practical stylistics, basic terminology; situation / communication sphere, adequacy / suitability, relevance. Styling factors / slope factors). 2. Stylistic aspects of text construction (stylistic procedures and their modifications, style departments, structure of the text and principles of its construction: text units and their borders, horizontal / vertical staggered text; the specifics of textual subdivisions of different genres and styles services). 3. FEP ZV and ŠVP (Czech language and literature: communication and style education, partial outputs, curriculum and thematic areas for the first year of primary school). 4. Talking versus writing (basics of spoken speech and non-verbal means, basics of written expression, creative work with text. Fundamentals of electronic communication; communication sphere: interactivity, monologue vs. dialogue, private vs. public speech, symmetry vs asymmetry; the sphere of school communication). 5. Problems of style work (methods of assignment and evaluation, discussions on style teaching at primary and secondary schools, state matrices, work and their analysis). 6. Writing - inscription (Czech as a national language and perspectives of individual departments and semi-permanents). Czech. Codification. Criteria of adequacy, clarity and precision: their analysis and their view across traditional functional areas). 7. Communication and style teaching in textbooks for elementary schools (summarizing the view of Czech language textbooks, focusing on classroom instruction, educational portals and their content. Style and its forms in modern Czech grammars). 8. Communication and style teaching in practice (methods and procedures, characteristics of style exercises and their meaning at present). 9. Variety of contemporary Czech language resources (basic overview of style variants according to individual language plans with a specific focus on vocabulary and its development; doublets and style value). 10. Functional styles and their models (standards, procedures and departments: a brief characteristic of functional styles, the meaning of this classification and its possible use in teaching. Stylistic systematics and its use in practice. Writing vs. Reading). 11. Functional styles (everyday / ordinary communication, professional, administrative, artistic, publicistic) and their basic characteristics (examples, examples).
