Course content
The aim of the discipline is to introduce students to the basic form of museum education, which is animation, or museum animation programs. The practically oriented course, led by a museum educator from practice will be implemented directly in the partner museum institution of the Olomouc Museum of Art and will focus on the cultivation of basic professional competencies of future museum educators. After a theoretical introduction of this specific form of museum education, which is unique on account of its combination of intellectual activities with practical activities? vivifying?, students are familiarized with practical examples of educational programs of museums and their structure. Under the guidance of the teacher, students alone prepare and create an individual art work or other variation which builds upon the selected exhibit with its principles, technology or content follow the selected exhibit. Emphasis will be placed on individualizing education, on active learning and learning through practical activities. Basic topics: Museum education Animation in the organizational forms of museum education Structure of animation Preparation of an animated program

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to: - Explain the difference between traditional organizational forms of education and animations - Explain the specifics of animation - Clarify the model structure of an animation program - Apply theoretical knowledge of museum education into practice - Create their own animation program

Basic knowledge of educational issues, interest in the field.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Dialog, Seminar Work

Participation in lectures. Active collaboration during instruction, preparation of homework assigned by the teacher.
