Course content
The aim of this block is also to prepare students in the area of management skills. Students gain not only knowledge of the financing of cultural activities, about the origin of financial resources, but also practical experience how to apply for it. Graduates will understand the system of grants and foundations and gain basic knowledge in corporate and individual donations and sponsorships, and last but not least they will be able to write up a project with all of its requirements Basic topics: Types of cultural institutions and their legal form, introduction to finance not only the educational activities of museums and galleries Project: definitions, why projects exist, their structure, project cycle Project: needs analysis, implementation time Project: The project cost, budget preparation Project: The project objectives, Bloom's taxonomy The practical part? processing animation plans into a project An application for a grant, application form Subsidy and grant opportunities, financial resources, regional, national, international Foundation, corporate, community and foreign foundations, endowment funds, EU funds, foreign donors Fundamentals of corporate and individual fundraising, legal framework of fundraising, ethical aspects Project: Examples of good practice Evaluation methods of the project Evaluation of training projects, recommendations and lessons learned from the most common mistakes, reflection of the whole block

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to: - Describe the types of cultural institutions and their legal status - Understand the system of subsidy and grant opportunities - Define the concept of a project and explain their structure - Create their own projects
After completing the course, students should be able to create their own projects.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of the financing of cultural institutions, interest in the field.

Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Dialog, Seminar Work
