Course content
1. Questions of the concept, principles, objectives and tasks of the special- interest art education 2. Developmental phases and attributes of youth and children's art expression 3. Art line and project as an integrated whole within the special-interest art education 4. Questions of motivation and assessment 5. Basic art materials and techniques

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Demonstration, Grafic and Art Activities
  • Attendace - 26 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 12 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 2 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
After passing the course, students should be able to interpret the concept, principles, objectives and tasks of the special- interest art education, characterize developmental phases and attributes of youth and children's art expression, apply the skills with art lines and projects as integration forms of the special-interest art education emphasising the motivation and assessment, recognize basic materials and techniques for visual art activities.
After completing the course students will be able to prepare high-quality art program in the interest of children and youth, with regard to the specifics of the participants and applying the basic principles of teaching.
Prerequisites
Interest in the subject, basic skills needed to manage the practical art activities.
