Learning outcomes
The course is a basic subject forming the third pillar of the study programme, focusing on the development of professional skills and general competences of the student, specifically on the student's ability to present the acquired knowledge and skills in a scientific text and in a professional scientific forum. The course is designed as a four-semester course, with the demands on student performance in the course increasing as the semesters progress. The course builds primarily on the philosophical-methodological foundations of law and scientific propedeutics and is designed for students majoring in Legal History and Roman Law. Considering the fact that the dissertation represents the final work of the student summarizing the results of his/her scientific activities carried out throughout the study, the programme places appropriate emphasis on the student's continuous scientific activity in the chosen field. For this reason, the student is already required to submit to the supervisor a detailed list of literature and relevant case law related to the topic of his/her dissertation in the first semester of the course.
The student's ability to present the acquired knowledge and skills in a scientific text and at a professional scientific forum.
