Course content
Contents: Basic terminology of electrical engineering, history; Basic electrical engineering quantities, electric charge, electric voltage, electric current, electric voltage occurance modes; Electric work and output in direct current circuits, efficiency; Theory of electric circuits, categories, active and passive circuit element, ideal and real elements, operating conditions of voltage and circuit sources; Stable direct state in linear circuits, Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's laws, basic connection of elements in electric circuit, D ? Y transfiguration, method of loop currents, principle of superposition, method of gradual simplification; Voltage and current ratio box, Thévenin's theorem, Norton's theorem, analysis of circuits in graphic method; Temporary processes in linear circuits, RC and RL circuits, analytical methods of non-linear circuits; Electrostatic field, Coulomb's law, Gauss's theorem, capacity of plate condenser, serial and parallel connection of condensers; Magnetic field, occurance, depicting, magnetic field of circular conductor, cylindric coils and thoroids, magnetic field quantities, magnetic potential difference, intensity of magnetic field, magnetic flow, magnetic induction, magnetic characteristics of substances, Hopkinson's law, hysteresis curve, calculation of magnetic fields; Alternate current, efficient and medium values, phase meters, resistors, condenser and coil in the alternate current circuit; Alternate current circuits: serial and parallel connection RL, RC, LC, RLC, alternate current output, power factor; Symbolic-complex method of alternate current circuits, numerical operations with complex number, simple circuits; Analogy in electrical engineering: quantities, fields, stationary magnetic and electric circuits; Maxwell's equations and their analysis.

Learning outcomes
The aim is to create basic theoretical structures for the study of electrical engineering and related disciplines. Theoretic electrical engineering. Maxwell theory of electromagnetic field, electric, magnetic and dielectric circuits, etc.
Students will deepen and extend knowledge in the field of electrical engineering electrical machinery, apparatus and electricity.
