Course content
ORAL EXAMINATION The exam has the following mandatory parts: 1) introduction of the student (max. 5 minutes) - field of study, internships abroad, contact with a foreign language, publications, etc. - Answering any questions on the basis of the submitted CV; 2) presentation of the PhD project (max. 15 minutes: 10 minutes presentation + 5 minutes discussion) - presentation of the dissertation - content, aims, methods, etc. (max. 10 slides) - answering any questions related to the presentation and/or the dissertation; 3) work with the scientific text (max. 15 minutes) - summary of the professional article, justification of the choice of the article, link to the field of study and/or to the dissertation - answering any questions related to the selection or content of the article. Candidates need to enter the discipline in the STAG system. Consultations and examinations are held at the Department of Slavonic Studies, Faculty of Arts, Křížkovského 10. Contact person. Learning outcomes
The aim of this study is to achieve such knowledge of Russian that the candidate can talk about issues in the relevant field of scientific education with the necessary knowledge of professional terminology, use Russian professional literature at work and follow professional lectures in Russian. At the same time, he/she should master the common form of written expression in the field of study.

Knowledge of Russian corresponding to at least B2/C1 level.
