1.-3. The collapse of the Soviet Union. Perestroika. 4. The political system of the Russian Federation. 5.-6. The state's social policy. The state's economic policy. 7. The Russian Orthodox Church and other religious structures in Russia. 8.-9. Russian communicative behavior. Basic concepts of modern life in Russia 10.-11. Tourism in the Russian Federation. 12. Russian-Czech relations.

This course follows the Russian Realia 1 and is further broadening the information about physical and socio-economical geography, demography and cultural life of present day Russia. We shall also focus on the modern history of Russia from the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Russian state constitution, state symbols, and cultural habits.
Students will acquire an insight into the demographical, political and cultural life in Russian Federation. |

A practical knowledge of Russian, at least A2 level of the European Framework of Reference for Languages. Completing the course Russian Realia 1.
