Course content
In individual tutorials, the following topics will be covered: outlining a strategy of treating the primary material of research, putting theory together with practical analysis, formal features of a scholarly text (e.g. introduction, summary, annotation, works cited and consulted), difficult phenomena in evaluation of the primary material, supervisor´s feedback on the student´s text, rewriting the text of the diploma thesis.

  • Attendace - 13 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 237 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The practical seminar consists of induvidual tutorials of the student and his/ her diploma thesis supervisor.
Ability to analyse primary material of reserach, practical skills of presenting and expressing one´s ideas in a cohesive and complex text of a diploma thesis.
Prerequisites
Completion of the seminar Diplomový seminář magisterský 1.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

Active participation in the tutorials, submitting the complete text of the diploma thesis - approx. 50-60 pages.
