The course will focus on two main areas: 1. Selected linguistic approaches, schools, key figures, and course literature (e.g., cognitive linguistics, posthumanism, the Lublin school, etc.) 2. Selected literary and cultural movements, schools, key figures, and course literature

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to present selected theories of culture and language. Part of the topics will be delivered by selected lecturers from Poland.
The course focuses on contemporary Polish language in the context of current theories of language and culture.

Prerequisites

B2 level in Polish.

Assessment methods and criteria

- Participation in lectures with a maximum absence of 2 lessons per semestre - Individual lecture of translatological literature (essays and articles) with an extension of 20 pages - Successful passing of the exam (colloquium)
