Course content

Contents and the requirements of the subject. Introduction to the subject - pedagogy of sport. Sport pedagogy around the world. Personality of the pupil in the field of physical activities (PA). Personality of the teacher in the field of PA. Principle factors of the educational process. Project of the PA educational environment. Pedagogical principles. Conditions in the PA educational environment. Safety aspects in PA. Legislation in sport science. Motor learning (pedagogical aspects). Pedagogical diagnostics in the field of PA. Didactic forms in the field of PA. Teaching styles. Basic pedagogical methods in the field of PA.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this subject is to penetrate general pedagogical regularities and apply them to specific sports and motor activities´ surroundings. Another aim is to set up a base for leading motor activities in specific educational environments. The subject is directly horizontally linked with continuous teaching practice in the bachelor study programme and vertically it follows the subject Pedagogy of school physical education of the master study programme. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Student orients in fundamental education problems within physical activity field. After finishing this course student is able to lead education lesson in leisure time, training environemnent etc. creatively and independently. He/she uses knowledge from the pedagogy within the education process that includes physical activity. Students creatively solves the problems within the sport training education process and leisure activity.

Assessment methods and criteria

Written exam, Dialog
Active involvement in seminars (80%), registered attendance at lectures (60%) Doing assigned tasks given during the term. Accomplishment of credit requirements during the term and attendance at final colloquium (written test) from the topics of KSK/PEDAS The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in Moodle.
