Course content
Practical applications of anthropology, interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity anthropology; Applications in historical sciences; Applications in biology and ecology; Applications in sociology; Applications in ethnology; Applications in the study of religion; Applications in medicine and health; Applications in psychology; Applications in the social sphere; Applications in cultural studies; Applications in the media and politics; Applications in community studies.

Learning outcomes
The goal of discipline is to familiarize students with the perspectives and overlaps the other interdisciplinary fields. Discipline give a support the ability to be able to find and sort relevant information and writing process specified topic using specified methods of applied anthropology in the context of current social problems. Students will be an understanding of the practical applications of anthropology in practice and in direct confrontation with experts from academia and the world of work. The course will largely form of invited lectures as experts from the academic and non-academic spheres, particularly with regard to the possibilities of graduates as consultants in the state and the NGO (national and international) organizations and development agencies, professional staff in research institutions, teaching staff in educational institutions, and professionals in the medical field, in the social sphere, guidance and awareness, political parties, the media, etc.
After completing the course the student will be able to describe the overlap of anthropology to other disciplines and to discuss overlaps other disciplines in the field of historical sciences, biology, ecology, sociology, ethnology, religious studies, medicine, health care disciplines, psychology, theology, etc. Student will be able to handle the topic based on the method applied anthropology and defend them. In touch with the experts student will be able to assess the relevance of the application of anthropology in interdisciplinary overlap and will be able to argue and debate on the topic.
Prerequisites
The ability to read and understand the text in English.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

Completion of the course is conditional by reading of academic literature in the English language in the 50 ts and ts 150 in the Czech language, submitting essays 10 ns.
