Course content
The concrete schedule of the presentations is launched at the very beginning of the each semester. For example, the presentations usually include topics like "Czechia as New Immigration Country" or "Social Housing in the Czech Republic and Transition Countries". Current content of the course is provided to the students at the beginning of the semestr and also in the Moodle.

Learning outcomes
The goal of this subject is to provide the students with the insight into the current and ongoing social issues. These will be provided in the presentations of different members of the department of Sociology, Andragogy and Cultural Anthropology. The subject is usually taught in the summer term (February - May).
The student will be up to date with current social issues and will be able to discuss these topics.
Prerequisites
Good knowledge of English language.
