Course content
1.Terminological glossary of cultural anthropology. 2. Scientific work in cultural anthropology - the possible subject field and areas of interest of anthropologists 3. Anthropological work methods - qualitative, quantitative approaches, comparison, synthesis, analysis. 4. Presentation skills. 5. Working with scientific texts. Procedures for criticism and interpretation.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to develop student's professional skills, learn the basic terminology of the social sciences, especially anthropology. Anthropology will be emphasized as an integrated science of human being, including his physical, biological, psychological and therefore also social and cultural features. Students will be encouraged to write an essay in the field of anthropology, showing signs of professional work. The space will also be devoted to anthropological practices and methods that can be useful for reviews and interpretation, ie.: qualitative, quantitative and comparative approaches, induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, etc.
The aim of this course is to be familiarized with the definition of anthropology as an integral science of human being. Students define subject and methods of anthropology, clarify the terms of formation and a development anthropological sciences, use terminological equipment of human sciences, analyze and critical evaluate scientific literature, orient themselves in a basic anthropological literature and periodicals, write up individually a professional essay, logical argue and present their ideas.
