Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the theory and practice of the compilation of a phraseological dictionary. The applied part of the course will be devoted to the creation of the first Spanish-Czech dictionary of phraseology based on scientific and systematic phraseographic principles. The emphasis will be on phrases other than idioms.
The student understands the fundamentals of phraseology and phraseography, is familiar with the Spanish and Czech traditions, is able to identify and analyse phraseological units and their equivalents, and can systematically compile dictionary entries as part of a Spanish-Czech phraseological dictionary.
