Learning outcomes
A comprehensive analysis of Spanish literary texts (prose and poetic) based on theoretical knowledge acquired mainly in literary theory and in subjects devoted to Spanish literature. Post-war work and texts of Spanish exile, the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21st centuries, short stories and micro-short stories are analyzed. The texts are analyzed in terms of theme, plot, characters, imagination, language, style, etc. Students are guided to develop comparative literature competencies and the ability to distinguish and characterize the most important developmental stages of Spanish literature and its dominant aesthetic expressions. Students process assigned topics based on their own study and present them in written form.
Deepening the student's knowledge in the theory and interpretation of literary texts of Spanish literature.
