Course content
|
This course should enhance the student's knowledge of evolution of Portuguese music, theatre and film from its origin up to now. It starts with Renaissance music and theatre, Mannerism, Baroque, 19th centrury theatre and its connection with film and gets as far as modern Portuguese music, film and theatre. It is complemented by listening to CDs and watching videos.

Learning outcomes
|
This course should enhance the student's knowledge of evolution of Portuguese music, theatre and film from its origin up to now. (including Renaissance music and theatre, Mannerism, Baroque, 19th centrury theatre and its connection with film, getting as far as modern Portuguese music, film and theatre).
The student will have broader knowledge of selected aspects of current Portuguese culture.
