Course content
|
This course complements the subject matter studied in Brazilian literature. The topic of this particular course is Brazilian short story of the second half of the 20th century. It is dedicated to the authors and literary works that were not discussed properly due to lack of time. Seminars are focused on textual analysis of the works. This subject can be partly taught as a preparatory course for diploma thesis writing on literature.

Learning outcomes
|
The topic of this particular course is Brazilian short story of the second half of the 20th century. It is dedicated to the authors and literary works that were not discussed properly due to lack of time. Seminars are focused on textual analysis of the works. This subject can be partly taught as a preparatory course for diploma thesis writing on literature.
The student will get acquainted with new authors and texts from Portuguese and Brazilian literature or African literature written in Portuguese. The student is led to discuss and independently approach the interpretation of the texts.
