Learning outcomes
|
Throughout the course the students learn about the issue of effective use of various information resources with a particular emphasis on Internet resources.
Upon completion of the course the student is capable of using Internet-based information resources, i.e. various search engines and catalogues. The student is knowledgeable about the issue of validation of found information and protection of personal data in surfing the Internet.

Prerequisites
|
The student is knowledgeable about basic PC work in MS Windows.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Didactic Test, Dialog, Systematic Observation of Student, Seminar Work
- 50% participation in classes - In case of one absence the student is supposed to produce a seminar paper on a given topic based on the content of the course - Final examination from the content of the course (test)
