Course content
Translation exercises of more complex Italian texts into the Czech language, applying the knowledge of the translatological theories. A special attention is payed on the specific aspects of the both languages and their confrontation.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Methods of Written Work

Learning outcomes
Improve the ability to translate more difficult texts from Italian to Czech language.
Students will become familiar with basic translatological methods and will be able to translate more complex Italian texts into the Czech language.

Written exam

The student's active participation in the course and fulfilment of all the requirements set by the teacher during the course.
