Course content
Tutorial with the teacher, individual problems solution of the works, colective presentation of the results and their defence.

Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Methods of Written Work
  • Homework for Teaching - 20 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 10 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 220 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to develop student's ability to bring their own critical view on a phenomenon of their choice related to the cultural history of the European Romance countries, present this view in writing (20 pages) and justify their ideas in oral form during a professional colective discussion (in Czech). The topics depend on the students and should be consulted with the teacher.
To analyse critically, to work with sources, to be able to individually write a coherent scholarly text of at least 20 pages in Czech. To be able to prepare and carry out a presentation. To be able to lead an interdisciplinary discussion.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Student performance

Written work, oral presentation and defence of the results of the independent work.
