Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to deepen students' understanding of modern Italian literature, to explain in more detail the tendencies of this period, to intoduce major names of the literary life. Students will get acquainted with the canon of modern Italian literature, will know the most interesting genres, themes, authorial poetics. Chronological definition is approximately from the late 19th century to the 80´s of the 20th century.
Students will improve their knowledge of modern Italian literature, get acquainted in more detail with the tendencies of this period, will know major names of the literary life. Students will get acquainted with the canon of modern Italian literature, will know the most interesting genres, themes, authorial poetics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam

Participation in lectures and seminars, reading specified literary and scientific texts, preparing for the exam, presentation of paper, passing the exam.
