Course content
1. Syntactic analysis, sentence, speech, discourse 2. Sentence, modality 3. Syntagma, nominal group, verbal group 4. Subject 5. Predicate 6. Object, adverbial, terms outside of the sentence

Learning outcomes
To make the students familiar with the basic terminology and the methods used in the syntactic analysis. The attention will be paid to the analysis of simple sentence.
