Course content
1. Analysis of data from the profit and loss reports 2. Expression of profit 3. Assets and capital structure of the company 4. Financial relations to external entities Within the frame of the Project Uplift - Extension and systematization of teaching in world languages at the ?Philosophical Faculty of Palacký University of Olomouc, reg. n. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0033, took place in winter semester 2012/13 workshop by Mrs. Roux from Université d'Auvergne in France on "Financial Analysis ".

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Demonstration, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge of the French terminology of financial management and financial analysis. Furthermore, to become familiar with the procedures and methods used in France.
Students in the course of study will gain knowledge and skills in the following range that they will be able to demonstrate at the completion of the course within the assessment: Students are able to analyse data from the French financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss).
Prerequisites
Knowledge of French language at level C1

Written exam, Student performance

Active participation in the workshop, fulfilment of all the requirements set by the teacher.
